Operation New Blood: Striker and Sentry Join Siege, Fenrir and Solis Nerfs
Ubisoft recently announced the upcoming Rainbow Six Siege Year 9 Season 2, Operation New Blood, during the BLAST R6 Major Manchester. While no new operator will be introduced, Recruit will be transformed into Striker and Sentry. These two recruits will have access to every gadget in the game and will be able to combine them as they please. However, they won’t be allowed to bring two gadgets of the same kind. Changes to Fenrir and Solis’ gadgets will also be implemented in Operation New Blood, with both operators receiving nerfs to balance their efficiency.
Rainbow Six Siege Membership System Launching with Operation New Blood
With Operation New Blood, Ubisoft is introducing a membership system for Rainbow Six Siege players. This system will allow players to unlock unique cosmetics and other advantages, including access to the Premium Battle Pass, which will feature different cosmetics every month valued at 4,500 R6 Credits. Players who enroll in the membership before June 27 will receive exclusive rewards, including an Ash Epic Bundle and a Warden Legendary Weapon Skin. Additionally, players will have access to the Battle Pass, which includes exclusive skins, Bravo Packs, R6 Credits, and more.
Marketplace Fully Released and New Training Playlist Added in Operation New Blood
In addition to the new recruits and membership system, Operation New Blood will fully release the Marketplace, where players can sell their cosmetics for R6 Credits. All players above level 25 will be able to sell their skins on the marketplace. Ubisoft will also introduce new functions to the website. Furthermore, a new training and warming-up playlist called Endless Drill will be deployed in Rainbow Six Siege, allowing players to play the map of their choice for one hour while facing infinite static enemies. Additionally, Fenrir will receive an Elite Bundle, and Attrition will temporarily return to the Arcade playlist.
