XDefiant Preseason: Exploring Factions, Maps, and Modes
XDefiant has entered its Preseason phase, offering players a taste of what’s to come before Season 1 kicks off in July. During this time, players can immerse themselves in five factions, including Echelon, Phantoms, Cleaners, Libertad, and Dedsec (which can be unlocked or purchased). The Preseason also features 14 diverse maps such as Arena, Attica Heights, Dumbo, and more. Additionally, players can engage in five exciting modes like Domination, Hot Shot, Occupy, Escort, and Zone Control. Each faction, map, and mode offers a unique gameplay experience for players to enjoy.
Unlocking Weapons in XDefiant Preseason
As players dive into XDefiant’s Preseason, they have the opportunity to wield a variety of weapons across different categories. From assault rifles like the M4A1 and AK-47 to SMGs like the MP5A2 and Vector .45 ACP, there is a weapon for every playstyle. Players can unlock these weapons by completing specific challenges such as achieving longshot kills, dealing damage, or mastering hipfire and point-blank kills. Additionally, the Preseason features shotguns, LMGs, marksman rifles, sniper rifles, and handguns as secondary weapons, providing players with a wide array of choices to customize their loadouts and dominate the battlefield.
XDefiant Preseason Roadmap: What’s Next?
Looking ahead, XDefiant’s Year 1 roadmap promises exciting additions for players to look forward to. Four new factions, 12 additional weapons, and 12 fresh maps will be introduced throughout the next four seasons of the game, each lasting three months.
