New Rainbow Six Siege Operator: Striker

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege has introduced two new operators, Striker and Sentry, with the launch of Operation New Blood. While Striker is a re-work of the previous Recruit operator, the concept behind this new attacker is a game-changer.

Striker is a unique operator in Rainbow Six Siege, as it doesn’t have a specific gadget or ability like other operators. However, Striker’s strength lies in its versatility. This two-speed, two-health operator can equip any attacking gadget in the game and carry two of them into battle.

In terms of weapons, Striker has access to a variety of primary and secondary guns, including Maverick’s M4 and Ash’s 5.7 USG. Additionally, Striker can use gadgets like Stun Grenades, Hard Breaching Charges, and Impact EMPs to create different strategies on the battlefield.

Striker’s Strategies in Rainbow Six Siege

Despite being a recruit, Striker can be a valuable asset to any team with the right combinations of gadgets and weapons. For example, combining Hard Breaching Charges with Impact EMPs allows Striker to efficiently breach reinforced walls and hatches.

Using Claymores to protect Striker while placing breaching charges can be a smart move, especially on maps like Bank or Kafe where defensive setups are common. Additionally, combining Stun Grenades with Smoke Grenades can help Striker deal with defender gadgets like Jäger’s ADSs and Wamai’s disks.

It’s important to note that only one player can use Striker in a round, as multiple players using Recruit simultaneously is no longer allowed in Rainbow Six Siege. However, both Striker and Sentry will be available for use in Ranked matches, adding a new dynamic to competitive gameplay.
